What is Performance Management?
Performance management is the process of assessing progress toward achieving predetermined goals. In a school, performance management is the continuous process of using student data to make instructional decisions. The first step toward implementing this data-driven culture is to systematically collect, store, and analyze data. Schools need two things to do this: a student data system and people on staff who know how to analyze education data. FOCUS can help schools create a data-driven culture through our performance management services.
Performance Management Services:
Why Choose FOCUS?
Knowledgeable: Too often, schools fail to use the data they enter into their data systems. FOCUS teaches schools not only to properly use their technology systems but also to use their data to improve instruction. Our staff includes specialists in PowerSchool, data analysis, and technology planning.
Affordable: FOCUS workshops are inexpensive; there are no travel costs and we do not charge extra for customization. What’s more, we offer a 15% discount on all services to schools that annually give FOCUS a voluntary school payment of $5.00 per student.
Local: FOCUS works closely with the Public Charter School Board and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education and is familiar with their data systems and reporting requirements.
