What is Performance Management?
Performance management is the process of assessing progress toward achieving predetermined goals. In a school, performance management is the continuous process of using student data to make instructional decisions. The first step toward implementing this data-driven culture is to systematically collect, store, and analyze data. Schools need two things to do this: a student data system and people on staff who know how to analyze education data.
