OBJECTIVE

  • Select when to use instrumental or socialized learning and describe how each supports adult learning
  • Write effective objectives and criteria for success
  • Design a concrete experience to model or spark learning and the questions to unpack it
DETAILS This session supports teacher leaders and leaders in designing the adult learning experiences that drive professional learning.  Built on research about adult learners and guided by a cycle of experiential learning, teacher leaders and leaders will learn to create rigorous, relevant professional learning opportunities that shift the ratio of cognitive work to their colleagues, driving concrete changes in teaching and learning.
