DETAILS         

SQL is a powerful tool for managing and analyzing data. Users will participate in hands-on activities and lectures, and will leave with an understanding of relational databases and the ability to write basic SQL queries. Learn the basics of relational databases; learn how to query data from databases using basic select commands. SQL gives analysts the ability to access raw data from SIS, assessment systems, behavior management systems, and other databases related to student information and instruction.

At least one year of data analysis experience is recommended prior to attending. No prior experience with SQL is necessary. Participants are required to bring a laptop and charger.

Note: Participants must download MySQL in advance of training. Directions on how to download MySQL will be emailed to participants prior to the workshop.

  Lunch will be provided to all participants.
