TOPIC      Strategies for Creating High-Quality Data

DETAILS  High quality data leads to two important outcomes - better decisions for our schools and more efficient analysis and validation. In this workshop we will discuss what it means to have high quality data and how we can get it. We will start with a framework to organize our strategies and then we will learn common pitfalls and practical techniques for cleaning data. We will use attendance and enrollment data as examples so that you can apply this training to the work you are doing right now.

This workshop is for both new and experienced data managers. New data managers will be able to learn the basics, and experienced data managers will have the opportunity to clean their own data while learning advanced cleaning techniques.
