PRESENTER Kenli Okada, Director of Student Information, E.L. Haynes PCS

DETAILS

Access to the right data at the right time has become a critical element to decision-making, differentiated instruction, and program monitoring throughout schools.  Because there are so many different users and types of data in schools, leaders and data managers often find themselves reacting to data needs instead of being proactive.  This session will offer an interactive training for school leaders, administrators, and data managers on how to develop a framework for a strategic data plan.

Participants will use a framework E.L. Haynes developed to start creating their own strategic data plans.  Participants will walk away with a better understanding of their data goals as an organization, who their key data stakeholders are, and if they have a mismatch between their goals and resources.
